GESHA Café Fremantle was where it all began.

It was our first step in introducing ourselves as roasters to the WA market. We hoped people would fall in love with our coffee… and they did.

From a small machine behind the counter to roasting for wholesale within a year, then outgrowing that and opening our Bibra Lake Warehouse, the HQ you know today. From day one, our vision was to have specialty coffee as our primary focus. Over 11+ years later, that moment has arrived. As of Monday, 10th August, GESHA Café Fremantle will officially close, and a new chapter with Bloom Cafe will open under wonderful new owners.

It’s been a joy to get to know the new owners and learn about their genuine love for great food, coffee, and community. The best part? Bloom Cafe will continue pouring & stocking GESHA Coffee Co., so you can still count on the same quality coffee.

You’ll still find GESHA Coffee Co. served & stocked throughout metro and regional WA at local cafés and restaurants, independent grocers and specialty stores, Coles Local stores, and online at any time.

Our Bibra Lake Roastery & HQ, the home of GESHA Coffee Co., remains open as always. We’d love to see some familiar faces! We encourage you to come visit for your favourite brew at our Espresso Bar (open 7am – 4pm weekdays).

Thank you to everyone for sharing our love for coffee. To our regulars, to those who popped in every now and then, and to those who chose our venue to meet, celebrate, relax, or reconnect… thank you. Most importantly, thank you to our incredible staff, whether with us for a short time or a long time.

To the Fremantle community, you’ll always be a part of our story. This isn’t goodbye. It’s simply a new and exciting chapter for GESHA Coffee Co.
