New Micro Batch

Ethiopia Sidamo Bona

$20.00

This 250g micro batch delivers intense notes of orange, lemon, and ruby grapefruit acidity. A full creamy mouthfeel carries notes of sweet almond, chocolate, honey, and blueberry in the finish.

Sourced from smallholder farms in Bensa, Sidamo, this coffee grows at 1800–2100m, benefiting from fertile red soil and a semi-forest environment. The Bona washing station, working with around 400 farmers, ensures meticulous processing to highlight the coffee’s vibrant characteristics. Cherries are handpicked and carefully sorted before being processed using the traditional Agaarde Disc Pulper. After pulping, the coffee undergoes a 72-hour wet fermentation, followed by thorough washing and density grading. Only the highest quality beans are selected, then soaked in clean water for six hours to enhance clarity and flavour. With high-altitude cultivation, expert processing, and rich soil, this coffee reflects the complexity and excellence that Ethiopian coffees are known for.
