A pleasant aroma of chocolate, complemented by rich toffee sweetness, adding depth and complexity. A full body and balanced medium acidity create a smooth structured cup, approachable for both seasoned drinkers and newcomers.
Grown in south-eastern Brazil, on the Minas Gerais side of the Serra da Mantiqueira mountains, this coffee region is one of the most prestigious and awarded coffee regions in the country. The mountainous terrain and abundance of springs and streams is characterised by steep slopes, which prevents mass mechanisation. As a result, much of the harvesting and processing is done manually, of whom are small scale passionate family farmers.
